Different Resin for different application

TYPE O (Orthophthalic polyester resin) Moderate corrosion resistance and fire retardant, fame spread rating. Such gratings can be used in the special environments of sea water, weak acid, waste water system. The operation temperature can be - 50 to 60 Celsius.

TYPE I (Isophthalic polyester resin) Industrial grade corrosion resistance and fire retardant, flame spread rating. Such gratings can be used in the special environments of middle concentration inorganic acid, inorganic alkali, etc. The operation temperature can be -50 to 90 Celsius.

TYPE V (Vinyl ester resin) Superior corrosion resistance and fire retardant, flame spread rating. Such gratings can be used in the special environments of corrosion with either acid or alkali or both. The operation temperature can be -50 to 110 Celsius.

TYPE P (Phenolic resin) Low smoke and superior fire resistance. It has a exceedingly good fire resistance, acid resistance and dissolvent resistance. Its oxygen index is up to 50, low smoke, high temperature resistance. The long using temperature could be 180 Celsius.

The structure of the FRP grating:

The FRP grating is interwoven by glass fiber and molded by resin casting.

• 1. The glass fiber interlaced textile and the resin fully saturate, so that the FRP grating is resistant to corrosion to the utmost extent.
• 2. The overall structure of the FRP grating cover distributes the load evenly, which contributes to the uniform force of the fiberglass grating installation and its supporting structure.
• 3. The glossy surface of the FRP grating and the italic FRP grating surface make the FRP grating self-cleaning.
• 4. The concave surface of the surface makes the FRP grating have anti-slip performance, and the anti-slip effect of the sanding surface is better.

FRP grating excellent performance

• 1. Chemical resistance. Excellent choice of ortho FRP grating, ISO FRP grating, Vinyl ester FRP grating. Mold FRP grating and Pultruded FRP grating with surface felt has excellent corrosion resistance.

FRP Molded Grating Installation Accessories

Installation recommendation-whenever possible provided for a minimum of 1.5" (40mm) bearing support at all grating support points. Hold down clips should be used at the rate of one clip for every 6 square feet (0.56square meters) of grating minimum, or at least 4 clips for any square or rectangular piece, or at least 3 for a triangular piece.
